For over 10 years, I’ve worked behind the scenes in the events industry managing the operational side of artisan markets, independent events and large scale public events across the UK.

What I’ve always loved most about the events industry is the dynamic working environment it brings. No two days are ever quite the same, and behind every successful event there are hundreds of moving parts quietly working together, from the planning and logistics to setup days, trader coordination, team communication and the fast paced problem solving that inevitably comes with live events. It’s an environment that demands calm thinking, adaptability and experience, and that’s the side of events I’ve spent years building my career around.

Over the years I’ve worked across busy market towns, city centres, breweries, universities, public spaces and independent venues, helping events run smoothly, calmly and professionally, even when things behind the scenes are anything but calm.

Grounded Events was created to offer experienced operational support to organisers, venues and businesses who want to create great events while still keeping control of their own identity, vision and community. The aim has never been to take over an event, it’s to support it, strengthen it and help it run in the best possible way behind the scenes.

Alongside myself, I also work with a small trusted team of experienced event staff and industry professionals who I’ve met over many years working in the sector. Every person involved understands the pace, pressure and unpredictability that comes with live events, and the importance of creating a positive experience for organisers, traders, venues and visitors alike.

Over the years I’ve built up extensive operational knowledge, industry contacts and practical experience across all kinds of event environments. From vendor coordination and logistics to setup planning, staffing and live event problem solving, Grounded Events brings calm, capable support where it’s needed most.
